What is a Toy Hauler?

A toy hauler is a cross between a RV style travel trailer and a cargo ramp trailer.  Toy haulers offers the best of both worlds, a comfortable place to cook, sleep and bathe as well as space for toys.  The open concept of these trailers offer additional living area when the toys where.  This hybrid trailer is currently one of the fastest growing types of RVs in the United States.

How to Choose Your Toy Hauler

The first question your should ask yourself is what am I going to do with this trailer?  When answering this question think of the following:

  • What am I going to put into this unit.  This question will determine the overall size of the Millennium Escape.
  • What am I going to do with the unit and where am I going to take it and for how long.  All of these questions need to be answered before configuring a new Millennium Escape.  Ask yourself am I going to need to go to locations where electrical power is going to be available.  Do you need 110 volt electrical power for your Escape.  The advantage of 110 volt power is the use of a microwave oven and powering the refrigerator from electrical power.  If you require 110 volt power for your Millennium Escape, then a generator may be needed.  Think how long may I take my Millennium Escape out before returning to city utilities.  This may help you decide how to size the water tanks.
  • Normally our customers purchase a toy hauler trailer to enjoy with friends and family.  Decide how many people you will need to sleep.  Think of the type of sleeping arrangements as well.  Will a bunk size bed work, or is a twin, full or queen a requirement.
