Purchasing used race car trailers can often times be a great way to save money on your race car transport needs. However, there are many considerations that should be taken in to account when purchasing a used trailer.
First and foremost the condition of the trailer should be inspected througholy. Examine the underbody of the trailer for rust. If rust exists then it should be determined wether it is surface rust or has the rust completly penetrated the steel. If it has completly penetraded, then the frame may be compromised and the trailer should not be purchased without a professional certification.
