Each commercial grade dump trailer has a ramp system
include. Two independent ramps are placed in to a c-channel that is
welded to the dump trailer body. A transition plate is on the top of the
ramp so the equipment can move easily from the ramp to the dump trailer
bed. When the ramps are not in use they are stored one on each side of
the trailer. They are fastened by using a cotter pin system. The
maximum equipment rating for the ramps is 5,000 pounds. Damage may occur
to your ramps and trailer if this weight is exceeded. These trailers can
be upgraded if you have a requirement for larger equipment capacity. The
trailer must be connected to a tow vehicle to prevent tipping when loading equipment.
