Our dump trailers use a dual hydraulic lift
system. This lift system is powered by a battery located in the front of
a trailer in a weather resistant steel box. In this box there is a
battery, hydraulic pump and lift control. The battery is charged by the
12v power feed on the tow vehicle. To ensure proper operation the tow
vehicles 12v power feed should be tested. The lift control has an extra
long cord so that the dump operation can be controlled in the tow
vehicle. The system is a push from behind system and is power up and
power down.
